In contrast to the database you use, this one is mostly made with publicly available data. You posted some real estate listing with your phone number - that number is on the list. The only other option is that you called or messaged me.

It is absolutely free. I have made this as a personal project to shield myself from real estate brokers. As I have done all the work anyway, releasing this service for free comes at no cost to me. If I were to make this a paid service, I would need to provide proper customer care, which I am not interested in doing.
As the database is managed by an automated system, new numbers are added all the time. The downloadable database is updated hourly.
Unfortunately yes. I have been testing this database for few months and so far there was not a single false positive. Also, the sources from which the database is generated basically guarantee that only phone numbers related to real estate brokers, agencies and consultants are included.
When doing any real estate related transaction, when dealing with any real estate consultant or broker, just get yourself a prepaid SIM and use your new number only for dealing with them (I would suggest to use that number when registering with your new property developer as well). Once done, toss it in the trash and enjoy the peace.
If your broker promised, then that must be true. If for some unexplainable reason you start receiving phone calls about your new property anyway, you are more than welcome to use Broker Buster to filter them out.
Broker Buster only provides a list of real estate brokers phone numbers. As such, I have no access to your mobile phone or your phone calls list. Mobile apps that I suggest use iOS and Android dedicated call blocking modules that make sure that even those mobile apps can’t see who’s calling you. This way, your privacy is always protected.
At this moment the database is provided in formats compatible with following apps:
Yes, but that depends on the call blocking app you are using. For some apps, there are separate lists, one for only blocking and another one only for identifying callers. For other apps, the behavior might be changed in app settings or during the blacklist import process.
On the iPhone, it is not possible, on Android it will probably depend on the app used.
If your call blocking app has a list import/export feature, then of course the database can be prepared in a compatible format. Please contact me at [email protected] and provide a link to the mobile app you would like to have the database for.
As this is a small personal project, I do not see a reason to spend time and money on developing and maintaining multiple mobile apps, especially since there are existing, free apps that do the job.
TrueCaller is not good at blocking real estate brokers, as it is a general spam call blocker. On top of that, TrueCaller uploads your whole contact list to their servers, which some people might consider a serious privacy invasion. Apps that I suggest do not do that.
Most, but blocking all the calls is rather unlikely. The blacklist grows at a rate of hundreds of numbers each day, so the detection rate should be improving with time. If any call gets through, please drop me an email to [email protected] with the phone number, real estate agency name and possibly the agent name. The true answer is hard to find, your details are in their database now and this database will be shared with all real estate agencies into eternity (due to people changing jobs from one real estate agency to another and carrying the database with them).
